Our Story

In 2023 we decided to embark on a journey to raise our own food. We did this because we are concerned with the treatment of the chickens and what they are given during there raising. We were looking to raise and eat unadulterated poultry. So we decided to research and raise Cornish Cross poultry in chicken tractors on grass. The raising of the birds on grass lets them naturally forage, scratch, and eat as nature intended. Allowing the birds to grow up like this gives them room to grow healthy and without the need of vaccines. While the raising of the poultry this way is good for the birds this type of regenerative farming is also great for the pasture and grass. The regenerative nature of raising the poultry in concert with other live stock just supports the entire ecosystem.
